26th Maniac Magee Family Run

Chatham Park HASA is SO EXCITED for the 26th Annual Maniac Magee Family Run happening on Saturday, May 18 at 9 AM. Register today!

The cost to participate is $25 per individual or $50 per family. In order to guarantee a T-shirt, please register by April 24, 2024.

 

For those of you who are new or unfamiliar, the Maniac Magee is an annual two-mile race (one-mile walk) for the entire Chatham Park community. As with tradition, all of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Norristown Salvation Army Family Emergency Shelter. 

 

This 2-mile run / 1-mile walk through the Chatham Park neighborhood is a great race for new runners and for families looking to walk or run together for a great cause. Here's a layout of the day:

• 8AM: Race registration opens

• 9AM: Run/walk 

• Awards and recognition will occur immediately after the race

• 10 AM - 1 PM: Chatham Park HASA's May Fair (details to follow)

Enter T-Shirt Design Contest

Your student's original design could be on this year’s Maniac Magee Run for the Homeless T-Shirt! Come see your friends, family, classmates, and fellow runners participating in the Maniac Magee wearing your artwork!

 

Submission are due By April 19th. No late submissions will be accepted.

Design Submission requirements:

• Be on White Paper

• Be Drawn in Clean, Dark lines

• Possess symbols/theme of Community Service and Homelessness

• Have Chatham Park 2024 and 26th year displayed in the design

• Include your Name, Grade, and Homeroom Classroom on the bottom paper

• Email Submission: please put “Maniac Magee 2024 T-Shirt Contest” in subject line

• Hold onto original paper design as the committee may need the original artwork for printing
